Walking Beside You in Times of Loss

Grief can touch every part of us. We understand how the pain of loss consumes, because we have said goodbye to our own pets. We have felt the emptiness when our wee companion is no longer by our side. Losing a pet is the hardest part of being a pet parent, and deciding the aftercare they deserve is just as difficult.

Our purpose is to walk gently beside you, to ease the weight of the practical details. We offer guidance, clarity, and aroha, so you can focus on what matters most — remembering, celebrating, and honouring a life that meant so much.

It is our privilege and responsibility when you entrust us to honour and uphold the life, love, and memory of your fur baby.

A Gentle Journey with Water

Aquamation, or water cremation, is a very gentle and natural process. Essentially the body is placed in the warm alkaline water to allow all the organic tissues to breakdown to basic elements, leaving only the bones behind. The water then becomes nutrient rich that can be released to farm, or water system that goes back into river streams and sea, to start its new eco journey. It is a tender process that mirrors the nature’s way, but faster.

Families often find comfort in knowing that aquamation is both gentle for their pet and gentle on the earth.

For us, aquamation is more than a process. It is a way of saying goodbye with love and care. It is honouring life in a manner that is as kind and natural as the bond you shared.
